Day 5 Gatwick/Cinncinati/Phoenix

We had an early start to get back to Gatwick airport and return the car, breakfast didn't start until 7am at the hotel so we were starving on the hour and a half road trip. Traffic on the M27 seemed just like morning traffic on the 202, just more polite! We got back to the airport with no worries and checked in really quickly(love flying business class elite). I forgot the 1 bag rule so had to shove my purse into my carryon...annoying rule. We had breakfast, our last English one, at Chez Georges...and hit all the duty free shops much to Frank's dismay :). Our flight left on time and we got to Cinncinati around 3pm local time. It was a 9 hour flight back against head winds. Picked the wrong line to go through emmigration. The guy next to us was letting 5 to our 1 pass through. Really annoying!! Anyways, we had a 5 hour lay over in Cinncinati. We went to the Business Elite lounge and vegged out. Frank was in work mode. It amazes me how quick his cell phone went off the minute he turned it on. It was insane and straight phone calls for 2 hours! It would drive me crazy. We ate the buffet and got on our connection to Phoenix. Arrived around 11 pm and found that Frank's luggage was either lost or someone walked off with it. No word on it yet. I'm sure someone took it, we had it in Cinncinati. He lost all his business attire, glasses, computer equipment, jeans and tennis shoes. Luckily, he had his laptop and contacts with us. That was a dissappointment. We were excited to get home and see the kids. It is nice to be home. We missed our girls and a decent bed. It was an amazing 5 days for us. I really enjoyed being with Frank. I'm so lucky to have a great sister that helps me out and loves my girls. She is the best! They were all sad to see Amberly leave...mom is back :).
