I got to ride the bus again today for Natalie's fieldtrip to see Peter and the Wolf performed. Yeah me! The play ended up being an orchestra and narrator of the story and probably wasn't wholly appreciated by the Kindergarteners and 1st graders. It's pretty bad when not only your daughter ie: Natalie and her teacher ie: Mrs. M are both raising hands up and yawning very loudly. LOL. I love classical music, but this was a stretch even for me. The poor kids were bored out of their minds. The school thought it was a play with actors...need to double check those descriptions I guess. Oh well, we all survived. I just feel bad for my friend who saw it with us, rode the bus back to the school and hopped on with her 3rd grader to see it again. She quipped, "I loved it sooo much the first time that I have to go back!" Cue dramatic music and heavy sarcasm. She is a brave, brave woman.
Hope your day is more interesting than mine so far. Things can only get better at volleyball practice this afternoon. I hope!

Holy cow! I am so sorry you had to sit through that. At least they took you back to the school and you didn't have to endure lunch with all of the bored kids. =)
