Bingo anyone?

Last Friday I had all these plans to have a great family get together at the school for family bingo and do some serious bonding with the fam. Needless to say things soon unraveled. First, Amanda was invited to a birthday party. Ok, understand that...tween stuff. No problem, still 2 girls coming. Then, Justine was invited to sleep over at Madison's house. Sleeping over won over spending time with Mom and Dad. So, that left Natalie who was not thrilled to be the only one who had to go spend time with us. Man, it's not like we were trying to sedate her or anything. It's bingo, pizza from Barro's and prizes! After many, many tears and screams of "it's not fair that I can't sleep over," we convinced Natalie this was a good thing. She could pretend for a night that she was an only child. Boy, did she milk that one :). Needless to say, it was fun, competitive, loud and entertaining. It helped that we won two of the silent auctions, but Natalie is still convinced that the games were rigged because the same little old lady won 2 games. I just shook my head and said, "honey, it's in their blood. Little old ladies always win bingo." I don't think she bought it LOL!
