SunSplash Waterpark

Well, I finally did it. After living in Arizona 4 years now, I took the kids to SunSplash in Mesa. I figured they are all old enough now that I can be one of those Mom's who lounge by the wave pool reading a book. LOL...I'm not quite there yet :). We had the buddy system and they were all good at checking in after each event, but I hung out still for a while with Nat and Jussie. We had a great day and had lots of sunshine, sorta decent chicken strips, icee's, sno cones and ice water. The amazing part is that the kids actually got me (I know a shocker) to go down all the slides once. After that, my back starter aching...we won't elaborate ha ha. Amanda and Kate even tried the Cauldron, a waterslide that ends in a huge cauldron (hence the name) kinda like when you put a penny in one of those charity things at the mall and it takes forever to make its way to the bottom. Well, imagine that with kids going around and around and then they drop down the bottom into an 9 foot pool (they were crazy). Natalie and Justine loved the Bonzai slides and they got me to go on the Troll slide. Anyways, check the pics out...it was a blast!
