I was passing my neighbors house today and saw that they had the flag up and thought to myself, what's today?? It totally floored me that I'd almost forgotten the signifigance of this day for Americans. We were in NYC in July, and had the opportunity to view the progress of the twin tower site and walk through the memorial at St Paul's Cathedral across the street. Even though I've seen this display 3 times now, it still is heart wrenching. I hope that you can join me in a silent prayer for all the families still coping with their losses. This is a day I shouldn't have forgotten!
