Last Halloween Themed post...I promise!

Finally, Halloween is at an end and we don't have another Friday night Halloween for what 7 years? YEAH! While, it was a fun filled week, the Halloween theme was getting old by yesterday. We've worn costumes for 3 days now and I'm giddy washing them to pack up :). I took the tweens out for some power trick or treating to find all the scary houses and once we got there...they needed serious convincing to get candy! GIRLS!! We ended up with our block party (the cul-de-sac does one every Halloween) and it was fun to visit with neighbors, eat good (real) food and watch all the kids play at our house since we have all the grass. Mine were just excited to stay outside until 10pm. It was a nice evening - but my feet hurt! Frank gets the honors for the next two (our deal so he could go hunting) and hopefully by then they will be done with trick or treating or old enough to go on their own!

Natalie and Spongebob!

The gang already to get some candy!

When I posted my last Halloween pics I felt the same way...it seems we've been having Halloween parties all week...I think that Halloween is now my favorite holiday!! Too bad it can't always be on a Friday!

The girls look like they were having a blast! I like the block party idea...I guess you can do that in AZ. Our night was unseasonably warm. We had a late night friends party at our house. The kids stayed till midnight. Bailey and her friends felt like they got jipped because they feel asleep! Have fun washing costumes! Happy Voting Day coming up!

I liked Halloween on Friday. I bet the teachers do too. They don't have to put up with wired kids on a sugar high.
