Seattle Marathon

It has been an eventful Summer for our family - some of it planned and some of it really, really spontaneous and I don't do spontaneous well! Frank has been training on and off for the last 6/7 months for the inagural Seattle Rock and Roll marathon. He ran it with a friend from his BYU days. We decided that we couldn't let him not be there alone; we needed to be there for him. It was a great experience for the kids to see their dad accomplish something so big. Frank ran the 1/2 in 2:39:56. He didn't walk at all and I can't describe how I felt watching him cross the finish line. He is a great example to me in so many ways.

We had a great time hanging out with Amberly and Mike in Seattle. The kids adore him!

It always amazes me flying to the Northwest from the desert. This is always an awesome flyby on our descent into Seattle - Mt. Rainier.

Being in Portland is so relaxing for me. I love visiting my sister! They are so cool and do fun things with the kids :).

I couldn't drive to Portland without seeing this! It was fun to stop and see "the school" from Twilight!

This is one of my favorite pictures of Justine and Porsha. I call it "Girl with Dog." We enjoyed our walk to the river!

After the race we played at Pike's Market. I haven't been here in 13 years! It still smells wonderful!

The girls were so proud of their dad and me too!

Chillin' over lunch at Sister's at Pike's Market.
Love this man!

Awesome picture of Mt Rainier. Sorry we missed you when you were here. It's funny to see pictures of you here in our "backyard." We'll probably be in Arizona in the fall sometime. We'll let you know.

We had lots of fun...I love when you guys come out and visit! Next time more Twlight spots (maybe Mom and Nicole will be here too)..hint hint! Are you jealous of our gorgeous summers yet? It makes up for the miserable rain all winter long!
