Go, go, go Joseph!

My night to volunteer and do crowd control with the children's chorus for Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat that is happening in our neck of the woods. I was so glad that I had my camera and snapped a few of the scenes they rehearsed tonight. I got goosebumps listening to the amazing talent in this cast. We have an award winning director and choreographer out of LA that has worked with some big name stars and shows. Each of the cast members has a kid as their "copperlink" buddy and it's cute to see them cheer for them and chat before the kids leave. They are doing a lunch exchange on Saturday :). Hope you can make it out if you are local. I think they are still planning a gypsy-style dress rehearsal on Sept 30th or Oct 1st. $5 cash at the door.

Front row baby! We had to be early for "socializing."

Straight from school and 80's day until 8:30pm. Justine is still smiling :).

L to R: Jacob, director Mary Okawa and Joseph in the chariot.

Funny, funny, funny Potipher catching his wife with Joseph.

Potipher's wife and the brother's wives/egyptian girls.

Joseph and Potipher in the palace. The sets are amazing!

Ensemble practice for pictures. Arizona Republic was on stage shooting shots for the paper.

Blocking scenes and singing.

More socializing on a break. The kids were awesome and waiting and waiting for their scenes.

More blocking and the choreographer with baby in tow. He's adorable (the baby)!
