2010

First post of the year....too much has been going on to keep my head straight. I'm stretched thin right now...wish it were literal, but it's not. Just trying to keep my head above water and all. Christmas break was nice that I was off school and start back on January 26th. I took extra two weeks off for math studies. I retake the math portion of the PRAXIS on the 28th. It's been raining all week and I love it! Not so much taking the dogs out in it, but that I am cold. That sounds weird, but I do miss being cold and snuggling in blankets and wearing socks. Kids are all hanging in there and we are managing on a 13% cut in pay. Thankfully, Frank picked up an extra class at the community college. Kids are willing to cut back and realize that it was bound to hit us too. Blessed that we still are able to do some things and that we are together. It could be so much worse. It is depressing hearing all the sad family situations right now. So happy that Scott Brown won in MA - I'm rambling, but I'm sorta on auto pilot right now. Ross had super sale and got miss Amanda 2 jeans and 2 dresses for $50. I opted for the cheap haircut so I could afford my makeup - regretting it now, but it'll have to wait. Justine needs a filling in February and consult for braces now too. Crazy how it all hits at once. Great lunch with a friend and she's wonderful to let me vent. Costa Vida in close by now and I am digging the sweet pork tacos....Frank's in LV right now trying to drum up business and doing the poor man's marketing at some hunting show there. Don't know how he does it, I just want to stay in bed. Great visit with the visting teachers this week too. Finished Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Society yesterday. Love, love it! Old letters are the best. Off to school, Frindle with Justine and piano lessons this afternoon. Plans for 2010? Really just to make it through another year healthy and in tack. I think we can do that. Oh, and to read scriptures everyday. Amanda and I are doing that too. Love my girls, Farmville on FB and my family. What more can I ask for than good books? Nothing. I'm content!
