Comical, yet thought provoking...

I've been doing some lurking inbetween loading photos and what not in the office and was reading a blog on Fact or Fiction? I thought the questions would be easy to answer, then when I went to answer them a couple were harder than I thought! So, here are my answers to a couple of the questions:
1. Love at First Sight. Fact or Fiction? This for me is both fact and fiction. Let me explain. I seem to fall in love very easily. While in college I had a few boyfriends that I thought the world of, still do, but seem to have at my young age not really understood the full meaning of "love." The first time I met my husband I did not really like him (this is where I compare our story to that of Austen's Pride and Prejudice...he hates that LOL). It wasn't until after about a year of shared experiences and meeting up at a reunion that he caught my eye across the room and I knew that we were going to get married before he did. So for me....true and lasting love develops over time and can be found in the most unlikely places!
2.Fortune telling. Fact or Fiction? Fiction for me, although I'd really like to believe in it. I do have a couple of friends who told me a year before my husband and I got married that we would get married and I laughed (cue Twilight music)...who's laughing now?
3.Other Life? Fact or Fiction? If you read my profile you'd know that I'm am an avid sci-fi freak. Yes, this is a fact for me. I can't explain it, just that I know it.
4.After Life? Fact or Fiction? Definetly. What other purpose would this life serve for if we weren't striving for something better? Something beyond our exsistence here?
5. Bigfoot. Fact or Fiction? LOL. My reasonable adult self says total fiction, but the little girl in me still remembers a sleep over in the basement of my cousins house and seeing a huge, hairy and looming figure staring at us through the window on a stormy night. There were even huge foot prints the next morning. Chalk it up to a wild imagination, but to this day I hate window wells and can't quite put my finger on what it was I saw :). I swear it was bigfoot.
Get a good chuckle. I did!
