Disneyland Magic

We just got back from a long weekend in Anaheim at wonderful Disneyland and California Adventures. We met up with my brother Garrett and his family to see my neice Ashlyn perform with her dance troupe. We haven't seen them for 6 months, so it was nice to hang out and get the cousins together. We had a blast! The girls were in brave mode or something to that effect and they all did Space Mountain, The Matterhorn, the log rides, California Screamer, and even the Tower of Terror!! I don't know what overcame them, but I'm not complaining...we only did 2 fantasy land rides: Dumbo and Pinnochio. It was parent heaven LOL. The highlight for me was seeing Justine's look of pure joy when she got picked to be one of the jedi in training. I almost missed it! I was bringing ice cream to her and my brother said she's out on stage with his son Colter. I was so happy for her. She got to fight against Darth Maul (sp) and showed us all her moves afterwards. I got a kick out of her using her allowance $ for a lightsaber. Unfortunately, I packed so fast that I missed it in the hotel room...so guilty mom that I am went out and bought a new one today for her at Wal-Mart. She had been saving her $ for a couple of weeks to take with us.
