2nd Grade Water Day

The one and only day that we needed sun and it ended up being a very cold and overcast day today! It doesn't happen very often:). Despite the "cooler" weather all the kids had a great water day at Power Ranch. I ended up helping out with the chalk zone...pretty much a no brainer...chalk on the basketball courts. So, I was able to take alot of pictures of Justine and her friends at their various stations through out the day. We weren't without drama for the day, we were interrupted half way through with a bee problem in the trees. They evacuated the play ground and guys came and sprayed the bee hive. After about 1/2 hour they resumed our water activities and we ended the event with chips, hotdogs and otter pops. What more could a kid want? I had fun spending the day with Justine, eating lunch on her wet towel and watching all the kids do "creative" things with sidewalk chalk LOL. Isn't it great being a kid?
