It's Official! Summer is Here!

I can hardly believe that Summer is here. We kicked it off with our weekend "hurricane party" and Memorial Day celebrations. We were going to go camping, but Arizona experienced record cold temps and snow up on the South Rim of the Grand Canyon. We opted to not listen to the kids freezing and had a pool party at our house. It helps that we heated the pool! I think the kids all had a blast. We played cards, kids watched Zoom and the men folk sat in the spa:). I'm not sure how that happened, but I did learn a couple new card games: Nerts and Scum. I taught them to the kids and Frank after I looked up online the directions. The kids love Scum! Memorial Day was low key - no graves to visit here - the kids swam with Frank and I cleaned. We had dinner that night at the Bavarian Point. Frank's colleague was in town and we went out. It was a lot of fun. I miss German food! We finally saw the latest Indy movie and I loved it!!! Too scary though for my girls...I'm not willing to deal with the nightmares. LOL Hope you all had a wonderful weekend too.
