It seems that this is the "Year of the Kitchen Appliances" for the Bria family! I guess around year 14/15 - couples need to have another wedding shower to get the latest and newest in kitchen gadgets...so if anyone out there is willing to throw a party for us...we so wouldn't decline :). Anyways, thank you mom and dad for the birthday money! As you can see I went out and bought me a new blender. It's an Oster 16 speed with nickel finish...real glass to boot! Ok - said that phrase way too much today. After Amanda's last smoothie experience and blueberries all over the kitchen...we needed a new one (I was secretly happy - hated the old one and it was white ughh). The one I really wanted to create things like on the Food Network shows was off limits due to the below new dishwasher, but this one comes in at a close second. Now, I need to figure out how to get a new knife set....I wonder?

15 years later and now we have the same blender!!! I just HEART the smooth heavy glass!
It's so much better than the white cheapo that could barely chop the ice for smoothies!

Love the blender! My sister and I joked that at 10 yrs. we needed to go and register for gifts again because everything in the kitchen needs to be replaced! I love new kitchen gadgets!
