Out of Towners

We always love when we have guests visit us during the holidays and having Grandma and Grandpa Sill come south to AZ was no exception. We did have Natalie trying to sneak in her gift from them on Christmas morning, but decided it would be nice to have her grandparents there to watch her open a few gifts. Max was even excited to see Grandma Sill and have her play catch with him (she taught him when he was a puppy).

We enjoyed playing tennis on the wii with Grandpa Sill and laughing over Natalie and her crazy, spastic playing. I actually played the wii for the second time and can't believe I haven't played before!

Natalie got the Troy and Gabrielle dolls from HSM3 and pretended like it was "Steve and Vorelle" dancing and doing kissy-face. I told her they needed to have a Bible or BofM between them as a joke and she went and got Amanda's scriptures to put between the dolls. We got a laugh out of that one. She is such a nut. Dad said he cannot believe all the big words Nat knows:).

We had fun opening gifts the day after Christmas and loved all the art supplies and watercolor pencils that they got from Grandma and Grandpa Sill! Amanda just finished a unit in art on watercolors, got an easel from mom and dad and couldn't wait to try them out. It was fun for me to watch my mom and oldest compare watercolor techniques. I'm so glad that she can pass on her talents to my kids. We spent several sessions painting and I didn't get one picture taken of it!! We had a great time mom and dad and thank you so much for the money for our food storage; it was truly wonderful and much appreciated.

You have to try boxing on the Wii. Seriously, I sweat my butt off and I never win. But it's still fun.
