The seasons are so mixed up here that I forget every year the leaves fall from our trees in January. I don't particularly enjoy raking leaves after living in Virginia and having a forest as your backyard, but Natalie was excited to make piles and jump in them so we let her. It was nice just to enjoy the pleasant afternoon and the pure joy on her face.

Wow, I've only ever lived in UT and now IL. It just seems so strange to see short sleeves in Jan. especially since today here it is an expected HIGH of 0 degrees (with a windchill of -30 or so). Enjoy yourselves! :)
