Saturday was not one of my better days and not a great way to start out my training for a run. I was possessed to reorganize one of my kitchen cabinets in the morning and stepped backwards off my chair right onto a metal gingerbread cookie cutter that had fallen on the ground. Stupid, stupid gingerbread men! I am really proud of myself for not cursing and not even screaming (could have been shock that I'd do something so stupid), but it did bleed like crazy and I had to uninbed (so not a word) it from my foot. Nicole said I should blog about it; I said who wants to see my gross feet? Curiosity won out because I can barely see it either! I have liquid bandage on it now and am going to attempt to walk on the treadmill today to see if I can stand the pressure. It is really tender still, but my kids are joking that "mom's already for Christmas next year!" Mayhap, but there will be no GINGERBREAD MEN at our house next year...so don't expect cookies!

Yes, my floor is dirty, I haven't had a pedicure in months, it's bruised and I think my feet are really ugly lol! You can only see one side of the gingerbread man since I was trying to take it myself :).

Wait until you don't have toenails then cry to me. Stick some duct tape on that sucker and suck it up, ya big baby. Remember the weak fall and the strong thin pain is a good sign you're still alive. Now go RUN!
OW! That is why I wear slippers all over the house:)Plus I don't cook very much so I don't have to worry about having to many items!
That does look like it hurts, and seriously your foot looks great...don't worry too much because I and probably a majority don't think feet are pretty any ways! Oh yeah, I will never eat a gingerbread man from you!
Ouch, and again, ouch.
Oh no! I am sorry Sonya! Is that your driving foot. That is NO good! Take care of that foot. I love the glasses in the pictures on the sidebar.
