Revisiting Stonehenge and Overcoming Writer's Block

So this is another lame post ha ha ha. I already blogged about this a year ago, but have been reminiscing about how we were in South Hampton this time last year and how much I miss it! Frank had meetings at the University of South Hampton, it was President's weekend, we got a ticket for me with points and Amberly was able to come babysit! I really enjoyed this trip as I had a lot of time to myself and really made strides with my book I've written. It still is not totally finished. The basic story is and all the chapters, I just have a bit of timeline tweaking to do, but as it is with all things - life has interrupted :). Anyways, I enjoyed the quiet moments to write and explore the countryside. We drove to Stonehenge, Winchester and saw the Magna Carte. We visited the cathedral that houses my favorite author's grave - Jane Austen, ate fish n chips galore, walked in the rain and found my mom's favorite hand creme again! We walked through the Titanic display (the Titanic took off from the port of South Hampton and many South Hamptons lost their lives) and laughed at the weird street names. I really look forward to traveling non stop someday :).

No kidding the street name that the hospital is on.

We asked for a great castle to visit and Arendel didn't dissappoint. Too bad SOMEONE still lives in it...some duke or something a rather.

Another view of Arendel.

Stonehenge...literally in the middle of nowhere England.

Me so excited! Never thought I'd get to stand before one of my greatest curiousities in life and see that face? Not cold, but millions of book possibilities running through my head. It's definetly the place to be :).

You are spoiled! You have gotten to see some amazing places. I was able to visit when I was in college, but would love to go back with Kurt and experience as an adult, and not a love crazed hyper 18 year old (adult?) :)! Where's your next big trip travel girl?

One day I can say I have gone to all those places...I have some marked off my list!I remember babysitting and I think that was when I took all of them to Shrek 2. Natalie was all over the seats and had to go to the bathroom so I left Amanda/Justine in there and was freaking out hoping that they wouldn't leave either! Good times!
