Cowboy Up Valentine's Day

I didn't equate the long weekend with Valentine's Day and Tombstone, Arizona probably wouldn't have been my first choice in romantic getaways, but there we were and it was definetly unusual;I won't forget it anytime soon :). It was kinda cute to see all the cowboys dressed in there finest(brushing the dust of the 'ol boots and putting on the fancy Stetson) and holding onto flowers for their ladies. We ended up at a saloon tucked down one of the side streets and managed to snag 2 tables. We sat the kids at one (under much protesting) and had a semi quiet dinner in the corner. As Frank summed it up, "it was like being at home with the kids at the bar watching tv and us eating at the kitchen table." Tres romantic lol! I had the best black and blue burger ever and the fried zucchini was awesome. That was my Valentine dinner. We had a long day and packed up to drive the 15 mi to Sierra Vista where our hotel was. Again nice digs, Hampton Inn lol. They messed up our reservation and we didn't have adjoining rooms so 1 parent in each with the kids split up ha ha. As a Hilton Diamond member Frank was furious! We were in the middle of nowhere and I really just wanted a place to sleep. Middle of the night I was so out of it that I didn't hear my phone, the repeated knocks on our door or the cops 2 doors down our hall. Poor Frank was trying to get cold medicine. The only good thing was they didn't charge us for the two rooms so we splurged in the morning at Denny's. It was an interesting Valentine's Day none the less.
