Last night was the Power Ranch Middle School Talent Show. Amanda audtioned a couple of weeks ago and was 1 of 5 6th graders to showcase her stuff :). She had to have a piano piece that was at least 3 minutes in length and given that her dad is the arrangement guru in our family, we picked three songs that I thought went together nicely. Her orchestral medley consisted of: Trumpet Volunteer, In the Hall of the Mountain King and Morning by Grieg. She did an amazing job for her level. I'm one proud mama! I love that Amanda is so willing to put herself out there and challenge herself. I wish I'd done more of that in school. Way to go QT!

Keep up the awesome playing Amanda...oh yeah, guess what my Bryson gave me for my bday...Twilight "The Score" and Twilight music from the soundtrack...yeah baby! Edward on the piano...!
