Learning the ropes in the food industry

The 3rd graders finished up their business unit with a field trip to Tropical Smoothie, Krispy Kreme and Red Robin this past week. I was able to chaperone for Justine's class. I can't say it was fun riding the bus in 103 degree temperatures, but it was fun to hang out with these cute kids all day. The best part was lunch and tour at Red Robin's. The store trainer was amazing and I can even spout out facts about the restaurants start in Seattle and won a prize :). One of my highlights if you could call it that was seeing Justine's "boyfriend." The two were inseparable...it's always the quiet ones. Frank's in trouble; the two of them humored me with a picture or two. It was just too precious to pass up!
