Teacup Pincushions

So, I am new to Pinterest and boy, what a time consumer! There are so many unique and crafty things out there. I am amazed at all the creativity. I am definitely not a trend setter, but I ran across these adorable teacup pincushions and fell in love. So, here is my version:

It took me less than 15 minutes to make 3 after the initial Goodwill trip to buy china teacups. For me, that was the fun part -roaming the aisles- in the creativity department. I was hoping to find some more unique china, but not this time. However, with a plain cup you can use all sorts of printed scraps (which I used) and voila!

Materials:

3 teacups from Goodwill (69 cents each)
Grossgrain ribbon
batting
rubberbands
hot glue gun

Let the crafting begin!

Super cute! I only make the food I see on Pinterest. These are a lot less guilt free. :)
