Amanda came home yesterday with gum on her pants, sweatshirt, and shirt courtesy of a careless teenager in the school auditorium. I'm sure she was mortified and hid it well with her sweatshirt. "Been there, done that" I said with understanding. I know peanut butter gets gum out of your hair, but how about clothes? Some on Facebook suggested peanut butter, so I decided to do a test for a pinterest pin (really, how many pins do people actually try?).
Here's what I found:
Peanut butter DOES NOT work on clothes! Aughhh it was the worst mess ever. I wouldn't advise it.
On the other hand:
Freezing the clothes for an hour and using white vinegar to scrub it off DOES!
Just some things that I tried from the website WikiHow .
Anyways, I'm sure there are other methods just as good, but I wouldn't do the peanut butter because the oil from it could stain your clothes.
